Door Supervisor FAQs

Q. Will this course allow me to work at Bars and Clubs?

 

A. Yes

Q. Will the Door Supervisor License allow me to work in other areas, such as events, retail or guarding?

​

A. Yes, door supervisor license holders can work in all of those environments, excluding Close Protection or the management and review of CCTV.

​

Q. Does the course teach physical skills?

 

A. Yes, however all techniques are non-pain compliant so we encourage additional assault avoidance training.

​

Q. Do we hold courses on weekends?

 

A. Yes, but rarely. We happily point you in the direction of companies that do.

​

Q. Will I be able to get a job without experience?

 

A. Yes, absolutely. Attendees will be provided with a list of useful contacts and companies that are recruiting for Security positions.

​

Q. Who will be training me?

 

A. All of our trainers have over 10 years experience of frontline door supervision and management of personnel.

​

Q. If I have caution or conviction would I still get a license?

 

A. This depends on a range of factors, including but not limited to:

1. The Severity

2. The relevance of the 

3. The recency 

4. The regularity

5. The punishment you were given
