Personal Safety Training
This course is designed for the general public and has been delivered to university students, school leavers and victims of domestic violence.
The course is designed with 3 key principles in mind;
1. Situational Awareness
2. Use of Force Legislation
3. Simple Self Defence Techniques
Course Content:
Situational Awareness: Will teach you to dynamically risk assess a person or environment which will guide your decision-making in order to either avoid, defuse or confront the situation you are faced with.
Legislation: This will provide attendees with a sound and concise understanding laws and Acts relevant to the use of force in a self defence situation. We breakdown components of what 'reasonable force' really is.
Self Defence Techniques: A large part of the session involves the demonstration and practice of a variety of simple techniques used to get yourself away from an attacker. These techniques will include but are not limited to:

Escaping from a wrist grab

Escaping from a hair pull

Escaping from a clothing grab

Escaping from a choke

Stance and Positioning

Pre-emptive Action - Effective Strikes
This is absolutely not a martial arts session, nor do we expect individuals attending to have or require high levels of fitness. The techniques taught are simple and effective and suitable for individuals of all ages and levels of fitness. The course will provide delegates with the skills and confidence to keep themselves and their loved ones safe, should they encounter a situation that may affect their personal safety.

Are Level 3 Accredited and Insured Self Defence and Use of Force Consultants.

Are not ex-anything, we all continue to work in high risk roles where we continue to use the exact techniques that we teach.
